This is an occupational therapy practice that meets you where you are literally and figuratively.
One Life Restoration does not have a brick and mortar location as it is a mobile clinic and provides services in your typical environments. I primarily serve the areas of Independence, Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs and Kansas City, MO.
Telehealth services are also available.
Occupational therapy addresses activities that focus on taking care of one’s own body and activities to support daily life within the home and community.
ADL (activities of daily living)-dressing, bathing, eating, toileting, grooming, sleeping, sexual activity, and functional mobility.
IADL (instrumental activities of daily living)-health management, education, work, play, leisure, social participation, meal preparation, grocery shopping, home care, etc.
I commonly work with people who are impacted by the diagnosis listed below as it relates to their ADL/IADL participation.

-Shoulder impingement
-Frozen shoulder
